I read your comments and, as the author of the website, do appreciate what you have to say. It's good when someone gives an honest, well thought of opinion. However, I have good reason for dividing the main aspects the way I did.
Firstly, I want to say that most questions can be answered by the website if people would just be bothered sitting down and reading it carefully. An example was someone (won't say names) kept on pitting outside of the garages. I said go and look at the website, because that rule is pretty clear on there imho.
Secondly, I do agree with the fact that losing your car if you get busted - after robbing the bank - isn't as clear as it could be. So I'll definitely look into that. In saying that, we do try to stress how important it is to us how real CLIS feels. So, with just a little common sense, someone could think about what happens when they get caught robbing the bank...
Another question which I wish I never read was "How do I earn money without robbing the bank or winning the lottery?". After replying something in the lines of "Look at the website for the rules etc." I honestly think it's rude to start complaining that you don't get an answer after that. I'm reading the website as I'm typing this and see that if you click on "money" the first line you read is: " You start off with €4.000,-. In order to gain money you just have to drive around."
We had a user on last night who I welcomed and asked if he had read the website - which he did - and I didn't 'notice' one problem he had. I wish more people were like him!
In regard to your comment about joining and not getting a chance to read the welcome messages... I also agree with you on that point. If LFS had more in the way of personal messaging it would probably be much easier to fix, but in the mean time, we'll have to do what we've got.

It goes without saying that we all appreciate the effort, but I really do not like the new sounds! Only the XRT is okay!
One of the main things I don't like is the urge for whining gearboxes... an lx4 would have a normal gearbox in real life.
We made a kitcar at my old college similar to lx4 which had a stock Sierra gearbox. That's how it should be imho!

Yep. If you sell a car you'll get 70% of it's new price back.
Example: UF1 new = 2500

I've noticed that for drifting (example) I found the mouse much easier than a DFP for that same reason... quickly flicking the wheels the other way.

Unfortunately that is indeed an edited image. For now we have to use the hazard warning lights and police siren (additional download).
I haven't been there recently, but I know their AutoX layout is great! Shame I'm not the best drifter LFS has seen! 
Although there are some neat details to LFS, I think we can all agree that there still is room for improvement. On the other hand, that's also one of the reasons why LFS is what it is... an on-going project! 
I strongly recommend everyone has a proper look at the rules and commands. It'll save yourselves and us admins a lot of grief.

What about setting up continental leagues that are open to absolutely everyone, but having to sign up to the league and each individual race for registration.
I had in mind that these leagues would run from January through till December. That means that when someone's league has finished they can join this whenever they want, but perhaps limiting the amount of races one person can attend so you don't constantly have the same people.
Instead of announcing the winner by who has the most points in total you should calculate the winner by dividing races joined by points gained.

U30 & Shift + G
I have an annoyance with the Shift + G function.
If I'm in sequential mode and press the command to switch to automated gears it changes to shifter first, but in doing so it switches to neutral therefore causing me to lose power to the drivetrain. Hitting the command again puts it into auto, but then you need to manually put it into gear. What then happens - at high speed - is that the car wheels want to slow down causing the back to spin, because you shift into 1st gear. Eventually the gears become automated, but it would be best if the gear you were in automatically stays there when you switch to shifter. I've only tested this phenomenon in the FZ50.

Something similar to BBC Sport's football website? With the football teams being racingteams and Premiership, SPL etc. being the leagues.
